The metropolis of Mumbai leans heavily on the womens domestic task force,
They form an integral part of our population. Women domestic workers are equal working partners in the family and many are bread winners.

A large majority of our women are domestic workers. They work in 2 - 3 houses and earns Rs 2,500/- to 3000 /- per month.
Once a month they meet together and varous issues pertaining to their life are discussed.
The interaction with other groups has been a great boost to their working and to achieve their own benefits and previlidges.
Leaders attend training on leadership and Personality Development. In one of the meetings the concept of SHG and the need for savings was stressed.
