The Amar Mahila Credit Society is slowly but surely gaining strength.
Every month at least 5 new members are added to the society.
One Reason for this steady increase in membership is that the interest rate is around 18% for deposits, which no other bank gives its members.
In this credit society, whatever interest is generated, is shared equally among the members.

The annual Body meeting is also a platform where the members discuss the various issues and concerns of the society.
